1) Cardiff Met Tops the Table in Wales as Best New University – Guardian University Guide 2013
We are delighted to announce some excellent results for Cardiff Metropolitan University in the Guardian University Guide 2013.
Once again Cardiff Met climbed the rankings, moving to 66th place overall, and 3rd in Wales, confirming its position as the top ‘new’ university in Wales and as the leading ‘metropolitan’ university in the UK.
In specific subjects, Cardiff Met was ranked 24th in Sport Science, 38 for Art and Design, and 50 for Education. The Complete University Guide, conducted by the Independent, also provided some positive results for Cardiff Met, and ranked the University 16th for Hospitality and Tourism, and 31st for food science.
In addition to the fantastic results we received in the International Student Barometer 2012, we hope that these new rankings will prove to be an excellent selling point for you to use on our behalf; enable to you to promote Cardiff Met actively to students wishing to come and study in the UK and ensure a successful September intake for us all.

3) Scholarships for ALL International students
Cardiff Met are now offering generous scholarships to ALL International students for entry this year. Scholarships available are:
• Undergraduate Scholarships - £1,200 to ALL students wishing to study an Undergraduate degree available for every year of study
• MBA Scholarships - £1,500 for ALL students wishing to study MBA degree subject to satisfactory transcripts
• Vice Chancellor’s Scholarships - £1,500 for ALL students wishing to study an MSc / MA with tuition fee of £10,000
Applicants will be automatically considered for scholarships and will not need to make a separate application
