Selection Procedure

Initial Screening: This checks your basic eligibility based on factors like age, citizenship, and criminal record. You can often complete this online or over the phone.

Application Review: Recruiters will assess your application documents (ID, qualifications, CV) to see if you meet the specific requirements for the chosen position.

Aptitude Tests: You may be required to take written or computer-based tests to assess your aptitude for the role. These could cover problem-solving, mechanical reasoning, or basic literacy and numeracy.

Physical Fitness Tests: Expect physical challenges to assess your fitness level. This might involve a timed run (e.g., 2.4km), swimming tests (e.g., freestyle, underwater swims), push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups. Specific requirements may vary depending on the position.

Medical Examination: A thorough medical evaluation by a military health professional is mandatory to ensure you can handle the physical demands of naval service.

Security Clearance: Background checks and security vetting procedures will be conducted.

Interview: If you pass all the above stages, you’ll be invited for an interview with a selection panel. This is your chance to showcase your motivation, skills, and suitability for the role.
