EXPENSES TO CONSIDER FOR STUDYING ABROAD: TUITION BUDGET.

There are five main types of expenses to think about when figuring out how much studying abroad really costs.

  • Tuition

  • Accommodation

  • Books and Supplies

  • Personal Expenses and

  • Transportation.

While you can control some of these costs to some extent, you have to know how much you'll need to spend on these expenses, so it is easier to create a tuition budget for your study program.

Tuition:

Tuition is the price you pay for studying at your preferred university college and it is up to 50-70% of the entire budget. This amount can change based on your academic program/course, your level of study and the duration and length of your program.

Tuition are set by individual universities and costs vary by the university, country and the intended program.

For example, UK and Irish universities tuition can start from €12,000 and can be as high as €40,000 per year depending on the academic program.

For American and Canadian Universities: Tuition can start from $11,000 and can be as high as $40,000 per year depending on the academic program.
